Who is Shavonne Dorsey

Although Shavonne Dorsey loves designing for women, she enjoys meeting and learning about her clients the most.  She always says, "It's my designs that women pay for, but the lives of these women that I touch are priceless!".  Ms. Dorsey’s most rewarding experience is when a client puts on a Shavonne Dorsey dress and the client doesn’t see her size anymore; instead the client she sees her own beauty. 

Ms. Dorsey believes that fashion is a way for women to creatively express and celebrate themselves while living a lifestyle of beauty, comfort and luxury. 

Ms. Dorsey obtained her Bachelors degree from Indiana University and worked in corporate America as a Business Development Director in the Medical Sales field for over 12 years. She started designing clothing in 2007.  In 2011, her designs garnered the attention of the prestigious Macy’s Chicago Fashion Incubator Program.  This intense, year long program selects only 6 accomplished designers per year to participate.  

In 2018, Ms. Dorsey won the Big Find on HSN/QVC (Home Shopping Network)  and expanded her business clientele to dress and serve curvaceous women all across the USA.
